Guzshita Sae Paiwasta
This body of work is about recalling and rejuvenating the old symbol of “Peti” (Dowry trunk). I have previously used the trunk to comment on marriage practices of our culture, which are sometimes utterly important. My present works has undertones about the contradictions in mentality, behaviours and class differences, which we all encounter in one way or the other. I have introduced and explored various materials and mediums, to support and embellish my work in concept and imagery.
